Meet the team
Travis hermelTravis is a fan practically born in the Arena at Gwinnett Center. He is the type of fan any team could count on to show out for a game regardless of what's going on outside the arena! For a while, Travis was better known as the "Gwinnett Mask" by sitting behind one of the nets with a Jason Voorhees style mask, punching the glass and intimidating players. Although his time as the mask is largely over, Travis continues to support the team, encouraging new fans to get into hockey. Beyond his life as a Gladiators fan, Travis works as a graphic design and gameday ops intern for the Georgia Swarm. He is a sophomore at Georgia Gwinnett College and is majoring in business marketing and hopes to work for the Gladiators in the marketing field.

Rick CawstonHaving grown up in metro Atlanta, Rick became an avid fan of hockey by going to Thrashers games for as long as he could remember. After the departure of the Thrashers in 2011, Rick found himself in the seats of the Arena at Gwinnett Center cheering on the Gladiators. He played ice hockey for the Atlanta Fire and Atlanta Phoenix before graduating high school, continuing into today where he stays as close to the game as possible by officiating local youth and adult league games. Today, Rick is a Junior at the University of North Georgia where he is majoring in Political Science and hopes to commission into the Georgia Army National Guard.
